Clyde Coast Contracts have developed a wealth of experience during 40 years in the business. We have completed over 540 engineering projects, spanning ground works, earthworks, plot works, structures and utilities in sectors including industrial, schools, retail, housing and health.
The firm was established by Owen McLaughlin, initially undertaking small-scale civil engineering works. While ground works and infrastructure remain our core business, these days we can be found operating on big earthmoving jobs, PFI schools projects, large drainage schemes, industrial units, town centre shopping and residential developments, all of which have helped contribute to a record turnover of £5.5m.

Clyde Coast Contracts have successfully completed over 500 projects and developments in the Central Belt of Scotland. We work across many sectors and provide a wide range of civil engineering services including, Ground Works, Earthworks, Plot Works, Road Works, Paving, Sub-Structures and Sewer Works. We have worked on projects in the housing (private & social), health, retail, industrial, commerical, agricultural, education and sport & leisure industries.
The role of our contract managers and foremen to inspect and audit sites weekly is vital. All of our staff are CITB trained and certified and hold valid CSCS tickets. Personal protection equipment is issued and is mandatory uniform for all direct employees and subcontractors alike.
We provide a professional and high quality service on all of our projects. Most of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients which is testament to the service we deliver.
We focus on on time programming and delivery. Having completed over 600 projects since 1979 we have the experience to bring jobs to completion on time within budget.
